Stacy Kelley of Set + Drift worked with the founding team to establish San Diego Design Week and lead as Program Director for its first two editions in 2020 and 2021. Presented by Mingei International Museum, San Diego Design Week is a five-day celebration of design throughout the binational region of San Diego-Tijuana, led by a community of volunteers, supporters, and organizers. Over 100 groups hosted presentations, studio tours, workshops, and self-guided tours featuring all disciplines of design — from interior and landscape design, to fashion, graphic design, technology, and more.

After the success of the first year’s event, San Diego Design Week gained recognition as a member of the international network of World Design Weeks, a network of over 40 cities around the world that host events dedicated to elevating the global conversation, understanding, education and connection of people with design.
