Pop Gallery in Culver City is hosting a closing reception Friday, June 10th for SUNSET CIRCLES -- a show feat. a group of San Francisco artists, including the talented Jay Nelson (see above). This reminded us of our enlightened wanderings around The Sunset district of San Francisco last winter, where we encountered one of Jay's custom built bicycle mobiles at Mollusk Surf Shop (also home to some ambitious indoor treehouses and an art 'store' by Thomas Campbell). Within a couple blocks, you'll run into the General Store and Trouble Coffee (for coffee, coconuts & toast of course). So worth a visit.
