UPDATE: Poster deadline extended to Monday, August 10, 2009. Submission info here.
Cardiff based branding firm ParkerWhite has teamed up with Thumbtack Press on a benefit project for the San Diego Foodbank. We're excited to see this designer initiated charity model continue after the huge success we've seen with both the Hurricane Poster Project and the So-Cal Fire Poster Project (started by San Diego's own Josh Higgins).
Here's an excerpt from ParkerWhite's call for entries:
Artists Against Hunger is a collaborative effort between the design and arts communities to raise money for the San Diego Food Bank. We are seeking posters from high-profile and up-and-coming artists and designers from the United States and abroad.
The donated posters will be sold exclusively online, and all profits will go directly to the San Diego Food Bank. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to help feed the hungry.
The theme is "Help End Hunger." We are looking for uplifting art that will help educate the public about hunger-related issues.
