Set&Drift in conjunction with AIGA San Diego and Subtext is proud to present Objectified, a documentary film by Gary Hustwit.
If you haven't already heard, Gary Hustwit's latest documentary Objectified is coming to town July 10 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. The film dives into the world of products we've surrounded ourselves with, and the designers that create them. It's a must see for any creative, so get it on the calendar.
Hustwit also directed Helvetica, a documentary about graphic design and the typeface that's become a ubiquitous part of human visual communication across the globe. Judging from his directorial debut, Hustwit's films should probably be required watching for all humans. So if you haven't seen it yet, rent Helvetica as a warm-up to Objectified.
And as if the screening wasn't enough, Subtext Gallery is bringing some added radness with an after party featuring a live performance by El Ten Eleven (who rock the soundtrack for Objectified and Helvetica).
Believe you me, this screening will sell out. Get your tickets now and we'll see you July 10!
